Expérience en action is a platform that connects experienced workers and retirees with employers, while offering a wide range of resources tailored to their needs. Created by GIT Employment Consulting Services, it highlights their expertise and supports their aspirations, with the backing of the City of Québec.
Mandate
Hamak was commissioned to design a dynamic and modern visual identity and website aligned with the vision of Expérience en action: a society where age is not a barrier to professional fulfillment. The website was designed to showcase the skills of experienced workers and retirees, foster connections with employers, and promote initiatives such as mentoring. Intuitive and accessible, the platform aimed to reflect its mission while strengthening its brand image and creating opportunities tailored to users’ aspirations.

For the Expérience en Action project, our team approached this ambitious mandate with passion and creativity. Through insightful discussions and collaborative workshops with the client, we defined the core brand pillars to reflect: professionalism, warmth, sincerity, inclusiveness, and positivity.
The logo embodies these values through a dynamic symbol combining the letters “X” and “P” for “expérience,” styled with modern, rounded lines. The rightward movement suggests forward momentum, reinforcing the platform’s mission to support seniors in their journey.
Designed for a diverse audience (seniors, retirees, and employers) the website rises to the challenge of presenting an innovative, multifaceted service. We created a seamless user experience, blending intuitive navigation with engaging exploration. A key feature, the job directory, allows users to visualize opportunities on an interactive map, with filters for tailored roles (full-time, part-time, remote, etc.).
Finally, authentic visuals of active, smiling individuals highlight the human-centered nature of the platform. This project represents a successful synergy between design, content, and functionality—creating an inspiring platform to help redefine the future of seniors.
