For over 20 years, Maple Joe has been an internationally recognized leader in the marketing of maple syrup and maple products. Based in Quebec, the company distributes its products in over 48 countries worldwide.

Mandate

Well-established in Europe, Maple Joe tasked us with creating transactional websites to expand into new markets in North America.
Hamak’s first step was to design a website that aligned with the redefined brand image for the Californian market, reflecting the distinct characteristics of this market. We also provided advice and integrated the necessary technologies for online sales and business operations.
The website was then adapted for the Canadian market, and several landing pages were created to support the client’s B2B and B2C marketing strategies.

To support Maple Joe’s North American expansion, we designed a transactional web ecosystem that combines performance, adaptability, and an intuitive shopping experience. We first developed a site specifically tailored to the Californian market, aligned with a redefined brand image to reflect local expectations and characteristics, while ensuring it could be easily adapted to other markets and identities, including the Canadian market with the maplejoe.ca version.

Our approach focused on creating a distinctive visual universe, incorporating polished photography that showcases the products in action to stimulate appetite, along with light animations and elegant shapes to enhance the brand image. The user experience was further enriched with inspiring content, such as recipes linked to product pages, encouraging smooth navigation between culinary inspiration and online shopping.

The project also involved adapting the site for the Canadian market, with strategic adjustments to account for cultural and commercial differences. At the same time, we created dedicated landing pages to support B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, maximizing their impact.
Thanks to the integration of suitable and scalable technologies, we provided Maple Joe with a digital platform well-aligned with its transactional, operational, and marketing needs, offering a solid foundation for its development in the North American markets.
