Connecting ideas, people, and priorities to move organizations forward in a shared direction.
Sophie cofounded Hamak in 2014, guided by a belief she still holds today: the businesses that get ahead are the ones that adapt well, make good decisions, and bring together the right expertise around their goals.
As president, she works with business leaders and marketing teams on their toughest questions and biggest growth ambitions. She likes to step back and see the whole picture, break down complicated problems, and connect business goals, client needs, data, technology, and the know-how needed to act on them.
What sets Sophie apart is her knack for bridging ideas, people, and disciplines. She stays away from one-size-fits-all answers. Instead, she works to understand what makes each organization tick, so she can shape solutions that fit, that are realistic, and that get results.
Curious by nature, she’s always a step ahead. She’s constantly on the lookout for new ways of working, new technologies, and shifts in marketing, so Hamak’s clients can move at the same pace as their market and grab the chances in front of them.
For Sophie, a good strategy only matters if people understand it, get behind it, and act on it. Her leadership rests on trust, clarity, and teamwork. She knows how to bring the right people together behind one shared vision and set the stage for projects to move forward.
Her work in digital marketing, user experience, and web design has given her a grounded, practical understanding of the customer journey and what makes digital work perform well. She trained in user experience with the Nielsen Norman Group and in UX design and evaluation at HEC Montréal, and now brings that background together with a wider view of strategy, growth, and organizational change.
